NATIONAL CUTTING HORSE ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES CO-SANCTIONED EVENT DETAILS WITH UNITED STATES CUTTING HORSE ASSOCIATION
The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) has released additional information regarding Cutters in Cowtown, a co-sanctioned event with the United States Cutting Horse Association (USCHA). This event will be held November 21-22, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas in conjunction with the 2020 NCHA North Texas Chevy Dealers World Championship Futurity presented by Great American Insurance.
“We have had a lot of interest in this special event following the initial announcement last week,” Jay Winborn, NCHA executive director, said. “We are excited to share more details about this special promotional event.”
The Cutters in Cowtown event will be produced entirely by Western Sports Production Associates. The new partnership between the NCHA and USCHA will offer competitors the opportunity to increase both their horses and their own lifetime earnings in the two associations simultaneously. The earnings from this show will count towards the USCHA 2021 point year, however, this event will not count towards the NCHA point year awards.
The NCHA and USCHA are working together to ensure all class structures and show rules are within the guidelines and rules that govern both Associations. Additionally, they will be using certified secretaries and dual carded judges.
Western Sports Production Associates is now accepting entries through Monday, November 16th. Show management will not be accepting any late entries.
Questions regarding the event should be directed to the show producer, Western Sports Production Associates. Event information can be found online at westernsportsproductions.com.
