The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Executive Committee voted and passed to extend the expedited show approval and edit timelines for upcoming NCHA approved shows through the end of the 2020 point year.
NCHA Standing Rules 5 and 6 had previously been amended to allow for shorter approval and edit timelines for NCHA approved events through August 1, but the extension allows the amendment to last through the end of the 2020 point year. Show approval applications with $500 or less added must be received in the NCHA office 15 days prior to the closing date of entries. Changes can be made up to seven days prior to the closing date of entries.
All other NCHA approved events have resumed the regular approval timeline of having the application in the NCHA office 40 days prior to the closing date of entries. Changes can be made up to 30 days prior to the closing date of entries.
