The NCHA Futurity entries have strong ties to the industry's past.

It is the beginning and the end of the cutting season. Thursday, November 21 marks the first day of the 2019 NCHA Futurity, as 3-year-olds, making their show debuts, launch the first day of Open go-round competition in Fort Worth’s historic Will Rogers Coliseum. Non-Pro Futurity go-rounds begin on Friday, November 29 and are followed, on Thursday, December 5 by Amateur go-rounds. 

Meanwhile, on Friday evening November 28, in Watt Arena, the 2019 NCHA World Championship Finals begins its seven-day schedule, which concludes on Saturday, December 7.

On Monday, December 9 at 9:00 a.m., the 2019 NCHA Futurity Sales begin with the NCHA Futurity 2-Year-Old Sale, Session I, in Watt Arena. The 2-Year-Old Sale continues on Tuesday, December 10 at 9:00 a.m., followed by The Evening Session at 5:00 p.m., in John Justin Sale Arena. The 2019 Futurity Sales continue with the Preferred Breeders Sale Sessions in John Justin Arena on December 11, 12, and 13, and conclude with the NCHA Futurity Cutting Horse Sale on Saturday, December 14, followed by the not-to-be-missed Select Cow Dog Demonstration and Sale in Watt Arena.

Finally, on Sunday, December 15, following 25 days of world-class competition, the 2019 NCHA Futurity will conclude with the NCHA Hall of Fame Presentations and the Open Finals.
