Update frome the Executive Committee meeting on Sept. 16th

September 17, 2019

To all NCHA Directors, members, affiliates and supporters:

The purpose of the Executive Committee’s meeting, September 16, 2019, has received special attention and much speculation by members and others. The EC’s purpose was to discuss and layout our strategy and timeline for the succession of our out-going Executive Director, Kirk Slaughter, as well as identify potential candidates.

While we were all surprised by Kirk’s resignation, we understand his decision and ask everyone to show their appreciation to him and the time he has spent as our leader. Even in the short time Kirk has been with the NCHA, he has made a positive impact and hired very competent individuals to help move us forward. These staff members and Executive Committee are committed and optimistic about NCHA’s future.

Together, we will continue to provide timely updates as they become available.
