The Non-Pro and Open finals of NCHA Derby are scheduled for Sunday, August 6, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Here’s a look at the Non-Pro finalists:

1 Regan Plendl

Regan Plendl won the Amateur Super Stakes last year on MK Kenli.
She was $35,000 Non-Pro Champion at the NCHA Western Nationals in 2014 on Rey Nounce.
She won both the Non-Pro and the Unlimited Amateur at Arbuckle Mountain this spring on Mr Metallic Rey.
She also won the Unlimited Amateur at The Non-Pro Cutting with him.
Mr Metallic Rey was an Open finalist at Arbuckle Mountain with Nick O’Dell.

She was NCHA World Champion Youth in 1995 and was a two-time NCHA National Champion.
She’s been a finalist at the Cattlemen’s Derby, the Bonanza and The Non-Pro Cutting this year.
She won the Novice Non-Pro division at Cattlemen’s Derby on E Laine.
This mare is a full sister to Mare E Hughes, which Jodie’s husband, Clay, rode to win last year’s Ltd Open NCHA Derby.
