FORT WORTH – The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is proud to announce the 2024 Affiliate of the Year, Ontario Cutting Horse Association, and the Reserve Affiliate of the Year, Tri Lakes Cutting Horse Association. In an effort to recognize and reward outstanding affiliate organizations of the NCHA, the Executive Committee established an “Affiliate of the Year” award. Congratulations to both affiliates, and thank you for your hard work and dedication to the sport of cutting.

“The Ontario Cutting Horse Association is very honoured to receive the NCHA Affiliate of the Year award,” said OCHA President, Amanda Law. “This recognition is a testament to the loyalty and commitment of our members to support our Association and to promote and develop the sport of cutting within our region.”

“Tri-Lakes Cutting Horse Association is thrilled to receive this honor. Being a new affiliate makes this award even more meaningful for us and speaks volumes about the wonderful people involved including the participants, board members, trainers, and all of the general show help,” said Philip Sadler, President of the Tri Lakes Cutting Horse Association. “The struggles of learning how to make a show work, while continuing to improve has pulled our team together and created a truly outstanding group of people to show with, at a spectacular facility, with top notch competition.  We anticipate continued growth in our numbers as we fine tune our show structure while we plan exciting new additions to our events.  Thank you NCHA for recognizing our commitment, hard work, and enthusiasm.”
