The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is proud to announce a new mentorship program between the National Youth Cutting Horse Association (NYCHA) Senior Board of Directors and the NCHA Executive Committee. This mentorship program will give the NYCHA Senior Board of Directors a chance to observe the happenings of the Executive Committee's responsibilities and business during their 2021/2022 term.
The NYCHA Senior Board of Directors is comprised of the senior officer team and the senior regional directors.
“We are looking forward to adding this mentorship opportunity into the current leadership and educational program for the NYCHA officers,” Mike Simmons, NCHA director of youth. “I want to thank each member of the NCHA Executive Committee for their continued support of the NYCHA and sharing their time with our youth members.”
Applications for the NYCHA senior officers and senior regional directors are available online at nchacutting.com/youth. Applicants must submit completed forms to the NCHA office by June 10, 2021.
Elected members of the NYCHA senior board will receive an official election package. This package consists of a leather officer jacket, Gist Silversmith belt buckle, Western felt hat, embroidered CINCH officer shirt, STS backpack, and travel for education and leadership activities covered.
