FORT WORTH – The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is excited to announce that the Illinois Cutting Horse Association was selected to produce the 2021 NCHA Great Lakes Circuit Finals. The Great Lakes Circuit Finals is scheduled for October 22-24 at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds in Du Quoin, Illinois.
“We welcome everybody to attend and enjoy,” said Leroy Hamann, Illinois CHA president. “We are thinking about having a breakfast, a good ole chuckwagon type breakfast, to get everybody together before the show starts. Then we will be off and cutting.”
The NCHA Great Lakes Circuit Finals will invite the top 30 competitors from the Great Lakes Circuit to compete this fall in each of the NCHA weekend classes. For the 2021 event, all youth members who have designated the Great Lakes Circuit for this point year will be allowed to enter regardless of their place in the year-end standings.
“For years, the Illinois CHA has done a great job hosting events for our members in the mid-west,” said Jay Winborn, NCHA executive director. “I am confident that this show will be no different, and the Illinois CHA’s plans for this show paired with the midwestern hospitality this region is known for will make this circuit finals stand out.”
