FORT WORTH – The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Executive Committee voted to postpone the 2021 NCHA Transwest Western National Championships presented by 6666 Ranch.
The 2021 Western Nationals was scheduled for June 26 through July 3 in Denver, Colorado.
“This decision did not come lightly,” Jay Winborn, NCHA Executive Director, said. “Due to stringent COVID-19 protocols in place in Colorado, producing a quality event that serves the best interests of our members and equine athletes is not feasible at this time.”
NCHA continues to evaluate all facets of the Eastern & Western National Championships’ future with the full intention to produce a high quality event that our members can enjoy and participate in safely next year.
The 2021 NCHA Eastern Nationals presented by 6666 Ranch remains scheduled for March 4-13 in Jackson, Mississippi. For information regarding this event, please visit nchacutting.com/eastern.
